Betty Mae Caroline Inselman

Betty Mae Caroline Inselman, age 87, of Cokato, died Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Cokato Manor in Cokato, Minnesota. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church in rural Kingston with Pastor Bob Tumberg officiating. There will be a one-hour time to gather with the family on Sunday afternoon prior to the service at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church. Betty Mae Caroline Inselman, the daughter of Emil and Clara (Peterson) Holm, was born on March 27, 1936, at their home in South Haven, Minnesota. She attended Lake Francis Country School and then Annandale where she graduated from. On July 10, 1954, Betty was united in marriage to Dale Inselman at the Kingston Apostolic Lutheran Church where they attended for all of their 68 years of marriage. Together they made their home in Kingston and later in Dassel. Betty currently resided in Cokato. She was a stay-at-home mom until all of her children attended school. Then she worked a few part time jobs until she worked full time at Crest Electronics for 23 years. She loved her family with her whole heart and especially having her grandchildren around. She enjoyed being on the go, finding every garage sale, Saturday Swappers Meet, camping and stopping to visit dear friends and family any chance she got. She enjoyed spending time at holidays, putting together puzzles, playing dominoes, card games and even visiting over a cup of coffee and a goodie. Betty and Dale spent their winters in Yuma, Arizona and their summers in Minnesota at “The Lot” after retirement. She is survived by her children, Connie (Calvin) Erickson of French Lake, Joe (Lisa) Inselman of Kingston, and Brenda (Duane) Leifermann of Cokato; grandchildren, Tija (Pete) Young, Nissa (Jed) Inselman-Field, Hutch (Ashlee) Erickson, Josh (Jennie) Inselman, Bryant Erickson, Kipp Inselman, Miranda (Jeff) Clark, Katie (Aaron) Nylin, Anya Leifermann, and Hallei Leifermann; 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren, and brother Marlin Holm. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Inselman, parents Emil and Clara Holm, brother LeRoy Holm, sister and brother-in-law Ellen (Kenneth) Mortenson, sister Florence Holm, nephew Darrell (JoAnn) Walberg, and brother/sister-in-law Duane and Audrey Inselman.
