Deborah Corrine Krueger

Deborah Corrine Krueger, age 68, of Silver Lake, died Monday, May 2, 2022, at M Health Fairview University of Minnesota East Bank Hospital in Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel with Rev. Janine Olson officiating. The interment of the urn will be held at the Dassel Community Cemetery following the service. There will be a one-hour time to gather with the family prior to the service at the Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Dassel on Thursday morning. The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is in charge of the memorial arrangements. Deborah Corrine (Enriquez) Krueger was born on December 29, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Barney and Marie (Mossey) Enriquez. Debbie grew up in Chicago, Illinois and was raised in the Catholic faith. She moved to Minnesota to live with the Turks in Litchfield and with Dave and Margaret Bakus family in Dassel. She graduated from the Dassel Cokato High School. Debbie worked at the Cokato Manor and lived with Shirley Peterson in Cokato, and worked overnights caring for Shirley, who had polio. On June 12th, 1982, she was united in marriage to Marvin Krueger and raised five children and lived in Hutchinson and finally moved to Silver Lake. Debbie enjoyed card games, animals, gardening, canning, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Marvin and five children, Marie (Chad) Foss, Kathy, Tony, Melinda, and Matthew. Her grandchildren, Lexy and Sofia and Emma Foss. She is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Enriquez, Joann Enriquez, Ann Enriquez, Linda Enriquez, and John Enriquez. She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Joseph, and Susan.
