Patricia "Pat" Marie LeBlanc

Patricia “Pat” Marie LeBlanc, age 79, of Dassel, formerly of Golden Valley, died Monday, September 15, 2025, at her residence. A 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial was held at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Darwin with the interment immediately following the service at the St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. The Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel is in charge of the funeral arrangements. Patricia Marie (Ryszkiewicz) LeBlanc, the daughter of Henry and Emily (Baron) Ryszkiewicz was born on February 3, 1946, in Buffalo, New York. Pat was baptized and received first communion and other sacraments in the Catholic faith. Pat grew up in the Buffalo New York area. She graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1963. From 1963 to 1967 she worked for Blue Cross of Western New York as an Executive Secretary. In late 1966, she moved with parents and two sisters to their new home in West Seneca, New York. Pat lived in West Seneca, New York for a year. She later attended the University of Minnesota for a few years. On December 23, 1967, Pat was united in marriage to Leland LeBlanc in Hamburg, New York. Together they made their home in Louisville, Kentucky; Gelnhausen in the Federal Republic of Germany, and Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania, before moving to Minnesota. They lived in Golden Valley for more than thirty years. They and their son, Anthony, moved to Dassel in late 2005. Pat was a parishioner at St. John’s Catholic Church where she was in the women’s group and worked on different functions at the church. She was also active in a woman’s group at St. Philp’s Church in Litchfield. She enjoyed teaching the faith to young members on two continents in four different parishes. Pat could often be found in her garden and had donated many apples from her apple orchard to charity. She loved to travel and see new places. family. She had a gift for keeping up family traditions in celebrating the different holidays. She was proud of the volume of Christmas cookies made for family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Leland LeBlanc of Dassel, son, Lindsey (Meagan) LeBlanc of Missouri Valley, Iowa; daughter, Ann Marie (Wayne) Kraszewski of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and son, Anthony LeBlanc of Dassel, two grandchildren, Zofia Kraszewski and Oliver Kraszewski, siblings, Elaine (Damian) Tryjankowski of New England, Barbara Bauers of Buffalo, New York. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Emily Ryszkiewicz and many aunts and uncles. On Easter Sunday (2025) , a sister, Geraldine Kurley passed away following a fall in her home.
